Job summary

Quantix SCS is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Specialist to join our Quality team in Savannah, GA. You will conduct weekly layered audits, verify process adherence, and drive corrective actions across sites to uphold customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include reviewing NCRs, coordinating post-audit actions, and performing V&V audits with precise documentation. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Auditing or Quality Assurance preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and corrective action methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one quality layered audit per site, per week with full documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate post-audit actions including scheduling team reviews, organizing training or retraining, and driving corrective actions to closure.
• Review customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), perform initial investigations, and draft preliminary responses.
• Partner with site leadership to schedule and execute NCR-related standdowns and track team participation.
• Perform and document routine Verification & Validation (V&V) audits.
• Conduct photo verifications as required, based on site-specific targets.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

The Quality Control Specialist is a key member of the Quality team, responsible for conducting operational audits, verifying process adherence, and working cross-functionally to resolve quality issues. This role plays a pivotal part in upholding customer satisfaction and continuous improvement efforts across sites.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Conduct one (1) quality layered audit per site, per week, with full documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate post-audit actions including scheduling team reviews, organizing training or re-training, and driving corrective actions to closure.
• Review customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), perform initial investigations, and draft preliminary responses.
• Partner with site leadership to schedule and execute NCR-related standdowns and track team participation.
• Perform and document routine Verification & Validation (V&V) audits.
• Conduct photo verifications as required, based on site-specific targets.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
