Job summary

LightFire Group is seeking a dependable Quality Control & Shipping Associate for 2nd shift in Tamarac, FL. The role is on-site with a full-time schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

You will inspect products for quality, pack shipments, and maintain organized work areas to ensure each order meets standards. You will also train new team members and support daily shipping deadlines while lifting up to 50 pounds and using warehouse systems for labels and inventory.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, packing, shipping, or quality control experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers for shipping labels and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and move throughout an entire shift.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and condition before shipment.
• Verify orders meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Identify and report discrepancies or damaged products.
• Follow established quality control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Carefully pack products to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare shipments and print shipping labels using warehouse computer systems.
• Organize completed orders for carrier pickup.
• Maintain accuracy while meeting daily productivity goals.
• Assist with training new team members on packing procedures and quality standards.
• Promote consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail across the team.
• Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Lift, move, and organize products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

In this role, you’ll ensure every order leaving our facility meets our quality standards by inspecting products, accurately packing shipments, and maintaining an organized work environment.
