Job summary

SteriPax Inc in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Quality Control / Shift Lead for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 2:30pm–1:00am). You will supervise the entire shift in collaboration with supervisors and managers, ensuring product quality and compliance.

The role emphasizes testing, inspections, documentation, training, and continuous improvement. You will oversee First Article, In-Process, and Final inspections, manage shift workloads, and coach staff to uphold SteriPax's quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of related experience and/or training
• Experience with laboratory and/or cleanroom environment, equipment and safety procedures
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
• Must be able to perform all functions of the Quality Assistant

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality-related duties including First Article, In-Process, and Final inspections
• Record testing results and manage documentation
• Oversee scheduling, workflow, and train staff on shift
• Identify issues and develop solutions; provide guidance to Quality Assistants
• Supervise production shift activities; monitor issues, downtime, and waste
• Coordinate with management on equipment problems and improvements
