Job summary

INTERCONNECT SOLUTIONS COMPANY LLC in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead daily manufacturing operations from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fixed full-time role.

The role partners with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams, coaching production staff, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor to meet customer requirements and business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience, including coaching and developing employees.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Serve as the communication bridge between first and second shift by understanding daily priorities, production status, and work order requirements to ensure a seamless handoff.
• Prioritize and direct production flow through assembly operations to meet production schedules and on-time delivery objectives.
• Ensure all production lines are appropriately staffed and resources are aligned with changing production priorities.
• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and support to Production Leads and production employees, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional development.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence on the production floor, building trust, engagement, and accountability within the team.
• Manage employee performance, including coaching, corrective actions, attendance management, performance evaluations, and recognition activities.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Support the development and growth of team members by identifying training opportunities and mentoring future leaders.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams to resolve production issues and remove obstacles impacting schedule attainment.
