Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in St. Petersburg, FL, is seeking an Associate Scientist II - Quality Control to perform analysis of finished products, in-process materials, and validation samples. You will handle microbiological identification, prepare reagents, and maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP.

Shift: Tue-Sat, 8am-5pm, 100% onsite; requires attention to detail and the ability to work under moderate supervision in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Analyze finished products, in-process materials, raw materials, and validation samples according to specifications.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and media for analysis.
• Log samples into GLIMS database and maintain notebooks and reports.
• Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment (balances, pH meters, KF analyzers).
• Dispose of hazardous waste per regulations and SOPs.
• Assist in writing or revising procedures and laboratory investigations.
