Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Quality Control Senior Associate Scientist I to support analytical lab operations in a 100% onsite environment. Shift: M-F 8am-4:30pm, with responsibilities spanning lab upkeep, documentation, and collaboration with internal/external teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a life or physical science and 2+ years of related experience, with strong GMP understanding, data interpretation, and communication skills. Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life or physical science is required with 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong math and scientific reasoning with ability to learn technical details.
• Proactive in addressing issues and communicating with the team.
• Ability to interpret instructions and apply GMP concepts.
• Experience with data interpretation and procedure improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain analytical laboratories, including cleanliness and supplies.
• Communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors to support projects.
• Maintain cGMP awareness and update records in the system.
• Train or mentor peers as needed and lead small projects.
• Ensure a clean, organized lab environment and proper documentation.
• Perform basic GMP documentation and sample handling tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
