Job summary

DiaSorin Inc in Stillwater, Minnesota, is seeking a Process Scientist - Quality Control to perform routine QC testing, troubleshoot deviations, and support validation activities in a fast-paced laboratory.

The ideal candidate holds an associate or higher degree in chemistry/biology or related field, with 1+ year of QC experience, strong SOP adherence, and familiarity with lab instruments and SAP ERP systems. This role offers a regular full-time schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field preferred.
• 1+ years experience in a quality control or laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of LIAISON products.
• Conduct QSET and wash buffer testing according to established protocols.
• Perform second checking of test results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Document maintenance activities and report deviations or issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the QC lab to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Organize and manage retains of materials for reference and compliance purposes.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.
• Escalate unresolved problems to appropriate personnel with detailed documentation.
• Participate in validation testing of new products and processes.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QC function.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality objectives.
