Qualifications

• Minimum five years clinical laboratory experience with two years in the present department.
• Hematology, chemistry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage priorities and troubleshoot instruments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all principle duties of a Medical Technologist I/II.
• Maintain LIS-based QC software targets and ranges; review/adjust QC performance.
• Coordinate parallel testing events for new reagents and QC materials.
• Manage internal and external proficiency testing programs and PT submissions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
