Job summary

Central Stone Company is hiring an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator at our Hannibal, Missouri plant. This full-time, hourly role may require some Saturdays seasonally and involves sampling, testing, reporting, and assisting with plant operations.

Responsibilities include performing tests, maintaining records, handling equipment, and following safety protocols. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass and maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for MODOT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift heavy samples up to 75 pounds.
• Safety-focused in all tasks.

• Obtains samples and perform tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our Hannibal area operations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records according to established procedures
• Assists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
• Assists in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment (loaders, skid steers, man-lift, etc.)
• Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly

Central Stone Company has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator at our plant in Hannibal, MO. This is a full-time, hourly position working some Saturdays depending on the season.

Quality Control/Plant Operatorresponsibilities include:
