NC Custom, a division of Nassau Candy, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Floor Inspector for our Ronkonkoma, NY location. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week with overtime opportunities and a competitive pay rate of $18.00 to $20.00 hourly.

You will supervise production floors, conduct product inspections, ensure GMP compliance, and help maintain sanitation and safety. Training is provided, and weekend work may be required to meet production demands.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of SQF Systems, HACCP, and CCP Monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and busy work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Visually monitor the facility for unsafe conditions or hazards and communicate findings.
• Perform inspections/audits of products to determine conformance with company and regulatory specifications.
• Conduct investigations by responses to emails and obtaining sample retentions.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all company GMPs.
• Assist with continually maintaining the highest levels of Sanitation.
• Conduct ongoing floor training and communication to ALL personnel, regarding Quality, Sanitation, and compliance protocols regarding Food Safety, Quality Control, Food Defense and GMP’s.
• Communicate any issues and follow up with appropriate parties to ensure that all issues are addressed and corrected.
• Promote and enforce a safe and sanitary work environment.

Key Details

Location: Ronkonkoma, NY

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00 (Based on experience)

Schedule: 40-hour workweek guaranteed, with overtime opportunities available

Full-Time: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus!
• follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred but not required – we will train!
