Actalent in Dayton, NV, is hiring a Quality Control Technician / Production Operator I to manufacture batches and support production with accurate quality data and safety compliance.

The role requires the ability to lift 100+ pounds, operate heavy equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area within a structured shift. This onsite contract position offers long-term growth and a strong retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety rules.
• Ability to use a computer for processes and training.
• Able to lift 100+ pounds.
• Stand/walk on concrete ~90% of shift.
• Operate forklift ~10% of shift.
• Work safely in a paint/chemical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture batches using Basket Mill and HSD per procedure.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of equipment and vessels.
• Weigh materials with scales as specified.
• Transact raw materials from inventory using scanners.
• Record times, temperatures, and quality control tests.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Support production, quality, and safety objectives.
