Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to direct training, development, and supervision of departmental personnel. You will plan and schedule departmental activities, manage public health reporting, and ensure proper application of laboratory policies and procedures while maintaining cost efficiency.

You will supervise QA staff, monitor quality metrics, and maintain the Quality Manual; prepare monthly performance reports for the Director of QA and Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or QMS is preferred.
• ASCP MT certification is required.
• Strong statistical analysis background and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision of QA staff; responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and counseling.
• Ensure efficient operation of the department to maximize workflow and utilization.
• Monitor service quality and provide feedback; conduct annual reviews.
• Maintain client relations and support sales activities; prepare and present quality data.
• Maintain the Quality Manual and quality monitors with annual review.
• Prepare monthly reports detailing QA indicators to leadership.
