The Quality Control Manager on Federal Construction Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Worth, TX. This position oversees quality control activities on federal construction projects, ensuring all work complies with contract requirements, applicable codes, and government standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing project-specific quality control plans, conducting inspections and tests, documenting results, and coordinating corrective actions with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. The role involves preparing and maintaining quality-related reports, participating in meetings with owners and government representatives, and monitoring construction processes to prevent defects and rework. The Quality Control Manager also supports site safety practices, ensures proper documentation and submittals, and contributes to continuous improvement of quality procedures.
