Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Quality Control Manager for the Border Wall project near Laredo, TX. The role requires extensive QC leadership on heavy-civil construction, with travel to live around the Laredo area.

This contract involves federal design-build work on a multi-year program, requiring proven experience on at least two federal projects valued at $10M+. You will lead QA/QC teams, manage three-phase control, submittals, inspections, testing, and government coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction quality-control experience.
• Experience on at least two federal design-build projects.
• Must have served as QCM/CQC Manager on at least two projects valued at $10 million or more each.
• Strong heavy-civil experience preferred.
• Experience with three-phase control, submittals, inspections, testing, deficiency tracking, and government coordination.

Position: Quality Control Manager – Border WallSalary Range: $115-$140K
Location: Laredo, TX area
Project: Border Wall Construction

Our construction client has been awarded a multi-year contract to continue the construction of the U.S. Border Wall in the Carrizo Springs, TX area (South of Laredo, TX / pop: 260,000).

The project consists of Barrier wall construction, 60+miles, boat ramp construction, patrol road repair, patrol road construction, bridge construction, electrical/lighting/ground detection system installation.

Candidates will travel to and live around the Laredo, TX area.

For the QCM position, the contract includes specific minimum qualification requirements, so candidates will need to clearly demonstrate that experience on their resumes.
