Job summary

ARB Inc. seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QC programs across varied project sites, ensuring compliance with project specs and applicable codes. You will oversee NDE coordination, inspectors, and subcontractor quality programs, driving timely resolutions of non-conformances.

The role requires 10+ years of QA/QC field inspection experience in construction sectors and AWS CWI or equivalent certification, with strong knowledge of ASME I, B31, AWS, API, AWWA, NFPA codes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA/QC field inspection experience in construction, power plant construction, concrete/civil, petrochemical, mechanical & power industries.
• AWS CWI certification or ACI training/certification is required.
• Strong understanding of related codes: ASME I, B31, AWS, API, AWWA, NFPA.
• Certification or experience in reviewing/interpretation of RT film.

Responsibilities

• Implement project QC program to be compliant with codes and project specs.
• Set up QC tracking systems: weld, NDE, rejection rate, civil tracking.
• Train quality system personnel at office and field sites.
• Manage and schedule NDE contractors and third-party inspections.
• Oversee all non-conformance reports and resolution with owner.
• Coordinate materials, equipment storage, and weld procedure approvals.
• Ensure welding continuity for all welders and equipment.

**Job Overview:****Quality Control Manager** – ARB Inc.**Position Overview** The Quality Control Manager is a crucial role that is responsible for implementing project compliance with quality specifications.**Responsibilities**· Implement project specific quality control program structured for compliance with all applicable codes and the project specifications· Set-up complete project QC tracking system for all activities, weld tracking log, NDE tracking log, rejection rate, civil tracking system· Perform all training of the Quality System (at office & Field site locations).· Set up all pressure test packages by system and pressure· Prepare a complete project turnover package for each discipline· Fully understand safety as it relates to construction activities· Manage field support inspectors.· Manage all Sub-Contractors and their approved quality programs· Manage and schedule all non-destructive examination (NDE) contractors.· Manage and schedule third-party special inspections.· Manage all special inspections for city, county & government requirements· Manage and schedule all NDE activities (RT, PT, MT and UT)· Manage all non-conformance reports (NCR) and work with the owner for resolution.· Manage all materials and equipment for storage/preservation requirements· Manage and qualify all welders· Manage all weld rod control & storage per QC program· Manage all welding procedures as they are approved by the project owner· Maintain welding continuity for all welders**Qualifications** · 10+ years of QA/QC field inspection related to construction, power plant construction, concrete/civil, petro chemical, mechanical & power industry with a minimum AWS CWI, ACI training/certification· Strong understanding of all related codes, minimum; ASME I, B31, AWS, API, AWWA, NFPA· Knowledgeable in concrete testing & inspections.· Certification or experience required in reviewing/interpretation of all RT film, related to the code of construction.**Job Location:** Variousproject/job sites **Salary Range**: $110K -$130K (negotiable), commensurate with education, skills and experience
