Job summary

Jjwws is seeking a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee the Contractor Quality Control program for complex USACE and DHA healthcare construction projects in the United States. The role serves as the primary authority for quality management and ensures all work adheres to contract requirements, approved submittals, project specs, and applicable codes.

The QCM will have overall responsibility for maintaining and overseeing the quality control management program for the entire contract,

Qualifications

• Experience implementing CQC programs per USACE requirements.
• Knowledge of UFC, EM 385-1-1, NFPA, ICC, ASHRAE, NEC, and healthcare regulations.
• Ability to lead quality control meetings and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the CQC program per USACE requirements.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, UFC, EM 385-1-1, NFPA, ICC, ASHRAE, NEC, and healthcare regs.
• Lead Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up Control Phase Meetings for definable features of work.
• Verify construction activities meet submittals and design intent before work proceeds.
• Develop and maintain QC documentation: daily reports, testing records, inspection reports, logs, corrective actions, turnover docs.
• Coordinate third-party inspections, commissioning, testing, balancing.

Job description

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for the overall administration, implementation, and continuous execution of the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program for complex U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) healthcare construction projects. The QCM serves as the Contractor's primary authority for quality management and is accountable for ensuring all work complies with contract requirements, approved submittals, project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and USACE quality management procedures.

This position shall have overall responsibility for the contractor's quality control management program to include maintaining and overseeing the quality control management program for entire contract.

Primary Job Functions

• Direct and administer the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program in accordance with USACE contract requirements and project-specific Quality Control Plans.
• Ensure strict compliance with contract drawings, specifications, UFC criteria, EM 385-1-1, applicable NFPA, ICC, ASHRAE, NEC, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Lead Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up Control Phase Meetings for all definable features of work.
