Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Quality Control Manager to support a large-scale solar EPC project in Union Springs, Alabama. You will lead the Quality Control program across all construction phases, supervising inspectors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with client requirements and project standards.

The role requires a college engineering/related degree, 10–15 years of quality leadership on EPC or heavy industrial projects, and experience with NCRs, audits and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or related field.
• 10–15 years of quality-related experience on EPC, power, solar or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience leading quality programs and managing NCRs, audits, and turnover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project's Quality Control program across all construction phases and supervise QC personnel.
• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan aligned with client requirements and standards.
• Coordinate QA activities with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors.
• Oversee inspections and testing across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical scopes.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement with project leadership.
