Job summary

CoolIT Systems is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead IQC, IPQC, and OQC operations across manufacturing. You will supervise Supervisors, Engineers, and Analysts and own QCPs and inspection requirements while driving data-driven quality improvements.

The role involves leading a team, applying SPC/MSA, and promoting a culture of quality. Initial onboarding occurs at Calgary, with long-term duties at the Dallas site and a strong emphasis on digital inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of IQC, IPQC, OQC, QCPs, inspection standards, and MRB processes.
• Experience with SPC, MSA, capability analysis, and quality reporting.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Python-based tools, or AI-driven inspection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead IQC, IPQC, and OQC operations, ensuring quality standards are met throughout production.
• Manage and develop a team of Quality Supervisors, Engineers, and Systems personnel.
• Own and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and inspection requirements.
• Drive quality performance through data analytics, Power BI, and AI-enabled inspection tools.
• Oversee SPC, MSA, capability studies, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage MRB activities and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor key quality metrics, risks, and trends, providing visibility to leadership.
• Champion continuous improvement, process standardization, and a culture of quality.
