Job summary

ATMI Precast is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the QC department at our Greenfield, IN facility. You will manage inspections, testing, documentation, and quality processes supporting production, ensuring compliance with PCI/ACI standards and the QSM.

The role involves staff recruitment, training, and continuous improvement across the department. You will oversee concrete mix design and testing, coordinate material inspections, and analyze quality data to report to upper

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
• Concrete-related experience preferred.
• ACI and PCI Levels I–III preferred.
• Strong leadership and laboratory/test experience.
• Knowledge of PCI/ACI standards and mix design procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control department.
• Recruit, train, and develop QC staff (Inspectors, Supervisors, Engineers).
• Implement new technology, systems, or processes to improve QA/QC.
• Ensure production practices comply with the QSM and industry standards.
• Review specifications and ensure quality requirements are met in production.
• Lead PCI audits and follow up with continuous improvement actions.
• Oversee concrete mix design, testing, and material inspections.
• Organize quality data and report status to upper management.
