Job summary

Resilient Structures is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Shift Lead to oversee QA on the assigned shift, training team members and ensuring adherence to RS standards. You will cover QA Inspectors in Filament Winding, Pultrusion, Order Prep Assembly, Lab Technicians and Resin Blenders, coordinating with production to resolve issues.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality records and participate in audits to uphold safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
• 3+ years in a quality role in manufacturing.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support QA inspectors and Lab Technicians on the shift.
• Ensure team training and resources are available.
• Schedule quality personnel on the shift with QA Manager.
• Monitor product quality throughout manufacturing.
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify deviations.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain quality records and reports.
• Escalate critical quality concerns to supervisors/managers.
• Perform and document incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Prepare quality reports for stakeholders.
• Develop and revise quality documentation and procedures.
• Identify process improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in audits and assist with corrective actions.
