Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the quality functions and staff, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company specifications. You will interpret specifications, maintain records, review complaints, supervise lab calibrations, and manage inventory while training a unionized workforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Ability to multitask in a team-based environment.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and back up Quality Control Manager as directed.
• Interpret quality specifications and communicate to departments.
• Maintain records to monitor quality performance.
• Review customer complaints and drive corrective action.
• Supervise ware audits and report findings with corrective actions.
• Interact with customers and service to resolve issues.
• Oversee lab equipment calibrations and maintenance.
• Manage lab supply inventory and ordering.
• Measure glass containers and provide reports.
• Train and develop unionized workforce in quality processes.
• Establish and maintain a safe, sustainable, healthy work environment.
• Comply with environmental and food safety standards.
