Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a Quality Control Lead to manage daily compressive strength tests and oversee production quality in a manufacturing setting in the United States. The role collaborates with teams, reports to management on improvements, and ensures material documentation is complete.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and concrete QA experience; ACI/PCI certification or ability to obtain ACI Field Testing certification within 3 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI / PCI Certification preferred, or pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.
• Some travel required for trainings and certifications (less than 10%)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Pipe patching and assisting pipe crew when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Oversee a small team of individuals.
• Responsible for receiving and filing raw material reports for documentation.
• Contact for State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
