Job summary

Ourvita group is seeking a skilled Quality Control Lab Technician for a temporary 3-6 month assignment in Minnesota. The role includes lab cleaning, equipment maintenance, sample preparation for internal and external testing, and supporting pilot production.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in manufacturing or a lab setting. Strong attention to detail and good documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; post secondary education preferred in a science related study.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory cleaning, upkeep, organization, and day-to-day maintenance; ensure GMP/SOP compliance.
• Document activities in notebooks or approved forms following Test Methods and SOPs.
• Manage ingredients and lab supply inventory; request/raw materials, ordering supplies, and holding inventory.
• Organize and maintain reagent, raw material, sample, finished product, packaging components and retain sample storage.
• Set up, verification, calibration, operation, disassembly, cleaning, and sanitization of lab equipment and glassware.
• Coordinate samples for internal/external analysis; prepare shipments for external analysis.
• Coordinate outside service of equipment maintenance as needed.
• Support pilot production and scale-up activities, including observation, sampling, data collection.
• Assist with sample shipment, testing (physical, chemical, organoleptic), batch manufacture as needed.
• Dispose of chemicals and complete required forms; look for time-saving lab improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
