Job summary

POET in Alexandria, IN seeks a Temporary Laboratory Technician to maintain a clean, safe lab and perform routine quality control tests per SOPs. You will coordinate with operators, manage supplies, and report any out-of-range results to the Quality Manager.

This is an on-site role requiring flexibility for extended hours and call-ins. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic troubleshooting and analytical experience, and familiarity with QC reporting in a cGMP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior analytical experience required.
• Knowledge of cGMP, PI, QC and PQ reporting preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional and safe working environment in the laboratory.
• Perform quality control tests on product streams.
• Coordinate test results with operators to ensure optimum quality and efficiency.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and provide supply orders to the Quality Manager.
• Perform tests in accordance with approved SOPs and according to the frequency established by the Quality Manager and/or Operations.
• Ensure all data is entered in a timely manner.
• Notify the Quality Manager when any quality control standards are not within specified limits.
• Work with operations on special testing requests.
