Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician for an onsite role in Gurnee, IL. The technician will conduct tests on materials and products, document results, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across production and supply chain interactions.

The role includes calibrations, preparation of solutions, swab and water testing, and maintaining detailed logs. Training new staff and contributing to process improvements are also expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of quality lab testing experience in manufacturing.
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Proficient with MS Excel and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Collect, analyze and document test results against quality standards.
• Identify deviations and troubleshoot testing issues.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare chemical solutions for testing procedures.
