Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Lab Technician to test production batches, interpret results, and guide adjustments to batches to meet quality standards. The role emphasizes efficient lab operation, safety, and adherence to SOPs while maintaining records and communicating outcomes to production.

The position involves batch approvals, data entry in the EBR, and coordination with other departments, with opportunities for training and advancement within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Batch approval—assures that all tests are completed, and results meet specifications before the next production step.
• Enter all batches’ data into EBR including batch deviations.
• Gather and send customer samples as required.
• Perform and document all laboratory equipment calibration checks.
• Maintain lab housekeeping and safety requirements.
• Identify quality non-conformances at the earliest stage and implement corrective actions.
• Support ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems.
