Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician in Macon, GA to perform testing, analysis, reporting, and support for the production lab. The role emphasizes ISO 9001 compliance and safe operations, with responsibilities across sample prep, data logging, and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Packaging teams.

Associate degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Excel and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft tools.
• Understanding SDS and safety measures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for testing and analysis.
• Perform testing on samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Approve or reject samples and log results.
• Provide timely and accurate results to internal stakeholders, including Production, Quality, Packaging, Scheduling, Procurement, and other teams
• Prepare reports, analyses, and technical input as required
• Calibrate instruments in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare indicators and support method transfer and validation experiments; assist with investigations as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and instruments; properly dispose of chemicals, samples, and waste
• Monitor and order chemicals and laboratory supplies
• Maintain records of sample analyses, certificates of analysis, and related data
