Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a quality-focused professional to join its manufacturing team. The role involves planning re-inspection activities and inspecting non-conforming material to ensure efficient processing.

You will assist with quality testing, calibrations, and lead other employees with coaching and training while maintaining comprehensive documentation. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Maintain records, reports and other documentation.

What You Have
  • High school diploma (or equivalency)
  • Previous experience in a quality role a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with re-purposing off-quality material (preferred)
  • Knowledge of non-woven PET products and properties (preferred)
  • Good time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (frequent walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and continuous standing)
What You'll Do
  • Plans re-inspection line activities to meet business goals
  • Inspect and disposition non-conforming material daily; properly status off-quality material so it is process in the most effective way
  • Assist with quality testing and equipment calibration
  • Manage and lead other employees, including providing coaching and training when needed
