Primary Objective

Major Function and Scope

Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

• Gather in process samples and perform routine physical property testing to ensure compliance with ASTM & customer standards.
• Performs quality control testing on production samples to provide real-time feedback on operation efficiency, product quality and compliance with ASTM specifications.
• Responsible for accuracy of tests, storage of data into database such as excel and quality control software Infinity QS.
• Safely utilizes testing equipment such as table saws, press, & furnace
• Responsible for personal safety, participates and complies with site’s safety management system.
• Assist manufacturing to ensure that all startups and quality changes meet quality standards as defined by the production specifications and quality requirements.
• Keep measurement equipment in good working order.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
