Job summary

Momentive in West Virginia seeks a Summer 2027 Quality Control Intern to collaborate with lab, production, and quality teams to boost product quality and manufacturing performance via hands-on projects and data‑driven analysis.

You will gain exposure to statistical tools, SPC/SQC, and continuous improvement while contributing to improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction. 10–12 weeks, 40 hours/week, May–August.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Interest in laboratory operations, quality systems, and process improvement.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Improve laboratory measurement systems and evaluate test methods.
• Apply SQC/SPC tools to assess process performance and variation.
• Analyze production data to set operating limits and improve consistency.
• Support data-driven decision making with trend analysis and charts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality-improvement projects.
• Prepare reports and present findings to site leadership.
