Job summary

PDM Precast, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Quality Control support role on our shop floor.

Primary duties include marking products, documenting inspections, and maintaining quality records in accordance with QC procedures, test results, and safety standards. You will collaborate with the QC Manager and production personnel, perform housekeeping, read shop drawings, assist in Continuous Improvement, and pursue an engineering bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
• Construction related experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mark products with identification and visual markings per QC documentation procedures.
• Document prepour inspections, postpour inspections, variance reports, bed shut down, repairs, shop drawings, concrete testing, sieve analysis, and initial set tests.
• Inform Quality Control Manager of any nonconformity of product, personal issues, or equipment issues.
• Perform duties in a professional manner.
• Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to ensure QC duties are performed.
• Work closely with production personnel on production quality.
• Perform housekeeping responsibilities.
