Job summary

Ferrovial Webber in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic Quality Control Inspector to join our team on large-scale water, wastewater and heavy civil projects. You will oversee inspection activities, verify workmanship against plans and specifications, and document results with precision.

You will lead and train team members, coordinate with engineers, contractors and vendors, and uphold safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years related experience preferred.
• Quality experience on water/wastewater/utility construction projects or other heavy civil projects.
• Inspection Certifications a plus.
• Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
• Leadership and mentoring ability and ownership.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Works on a construction site with crews observing the work.
• Adheres to and assist in monitoring of site safety policies.
• Maintain a safe working relationship with all stakeholders.
• Performs quality control processes and documentation for the project as assigned.
• Documents findings, evaluations and inspections using Company prescribed procedures and software.
• Interprets applicable plans, specifications, prepares estimates, reviews and addresses compliance requirements.
