Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks an Inspector in Oklahoma City to inspect and audit production and processes, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and GMP. You will perform inspections, conduct process audits, document discrepancies, report findings, train Operators, and propose improvements while maintaining safe, clean work practices.

The role supports manufacturing and quality teams and requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy.
• Must be a self-starter with independent judgment.
• Ability to interpret work instructions/drawings/visual standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to train Operators in test procedures and requirements.
• Strong communication with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, functional and/or dimensional inspections of product assemblies in accordance with inspection instructions and specifications.
• Perform process audits as assigned to verify that correct quality and manufacturing practices are followed.
• Document and relay any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
• Report inspection findings to a data collection system or as directed.
• Ensure inspection status of product is clearly identified.
• Train Operators in test procedures and requirements, and standard work as required.
• Make recommendations on inspection, product, productivity, tracking, reporting and/or scrap improvements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to provide a safe working environment at all times.
• Additional duties as assigned.
