Job Description:

The incumbent works under the direction of the Quality Control (QC) Manager, assisting in implementing, administering, and executing the Quality Control Program (QCP) policies and procedures to ensure contract requirements are met. They will plan and perform periodic management system audits to verify compliance with established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the QC Manager, Department Managers, Shop Supervisors, and project personnel to ensure quality workmanship and timely task completion.
  • Perform daily compliance inspections of the ARRO Operations Management contract, verifying adherence to the ARRO QCP and contract PWS.
  • Ensure personnel and subcontractors comply with PWS requirements and QCP processes through inspections of ongoing work and completed tasks.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable procedures, codes, and regulations as outlined in the contract PWS and through the QCP.
  • Inspect and validate contract performance against PWS and performance metrics, documenting findings and reporting to the QC Manager.
  • Conduct periodic management system audits to ensure adherence to established processes.
  • Identify and evaluate non-compliance issues, assisting with corrective and preventive actions using root-cause analysis.
  • Utilize SeeSOR QC inspection software for scheduled inspections and data entry.
  • Perform re-inspections as needed, working closely with the QC Manager and Quality Assurance personnel to address deficiencies.
  • Recommend improvements to the QCP and report project strengths or deficiencies observed.
  • Investigate customer complaints and recommend resolutions.
  • Verify compliance with SOPs, policies, and employee training requirements.
  • Operate government or ARRO vehicles and equipment safely.
  • Perform additional duties such as file maintenance, workspace organization, and communication tasks.
  • Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies, including wearing PPE.
  • Perform physical duties as required, including lifting up to 35 pounds and working in various environments and hours.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on quality control experience.
  • Minimum 10 years in a facility maintenance trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Knowledge of workmanship standards, facility maintenance, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with QC/QA principles, federal and state codes.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work independently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • Over 3 years of QC experience on facility maintenance contracts.
  • Experience with DoD contracts and understanding of engineering standards.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force procedures and regulations.
