Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support the QC Inspection Supervisor, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and are correctly allocated for shipping.

The role involves collaboration with warehouse staff and flexibility across docks and production areas. The ideal candidate has 1 year of formal education or six months in a related field, with attention to detail, good English communication, and basic measurements skills.

Qualifications

• 1 Year College degree or 6 Months experience in a related field.
• Previous experience in produce industry preferred.
• Must pass Drug Test, Background Check and pre-employment Skills Testing.
• Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
• Proficiency in English with clear communication.
• Proficient in reading measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all product meets or exceeds customer specifications.
• Ensure allocation is followed, validate correct product is pulled and shipped to customer.
• Assist Quality Control Inspection Supervisor to ensure inspections are performed and non-conformance corrected.
• Flex between shipping dock, receiving dock and production for QC issues.
• Report exceptions to customer specifications.
• Send out Quality Issues Emails for Non-Compliant Product.
• Oversee floor operations when the Supervisor is unavailable.
• Provide training when required.
• Remember recent rejections and rejection trends.
• Ensure product packaging is in presentable condition for customers.
• Ensure presentation is of highest standards.
• Perform other QC related tasks or special projects as assigned.
