Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. in Jonestown, PA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the B3 Night Shift to support the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor.

You will help ensure product meets customer specifications across the supply chain and collaborate with warehouse personnel to prevent rejections. The role requires at least 1 year college or 6 months related experience, basic computer skills, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1 Year College degree or 6 Months year of experience in a related field required.
• Previous experience in produce industry preferred.
• Must pass Drug Test, Background Check and pre-employment Skills Testing.
• Must sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire.
• Self-starter and willing to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Proficient in computer-use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Spanish as a second language would be an asset.
• Inspection/audit experiences, working in software applications are considered assets.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, JDA or NAV experience preferred.
• Ability to use and read measuring devices such as scales, calipers, ruler.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all product meets or exceeds customer specifications.
• Ensure allocation is followed, validate correct product is pulled and shipped to customer.
• Assist Quality Control Inspection Supervisor to ensure all product inspections are performed and labeling specs adhered to.
• Flex between docks and production to assist with QA issues and inspections.
• Report exceptions to customer specs to QC Supervisor.
• Send out Quality Issues Emails for Non-Compliant Product.
• Oversee floor operations when QC Supervisor is unavailable.
• Remember recent rejections and rejection trends.
• Ensure product packaging is presentable for customers.
• Maintain presentation of highest standards.
• Perform other QC tasks or special projects as assigned.
• Provide training when required.
