Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Fallsington, PA to perform measurement and visual inspection of materials, following prints, checklists and established guidelines.

Work involves receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage and shipping steps under supervision. You will record measurements, identify tolerances, stop nonconforming operations, assist in investigations and prepare required reports while maintaining compliance with internal quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or quality management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of management or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Record measurements and other critical data.
• Identify acceptable tolerances according to prints and documents and ensure operations stay within tolerances.
• Stops production and notifies personnel and management on nonconformances.
• Assist in investigation of quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
