Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform measurement and visual inspection of materials across receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping stages. You will rely on established guidelines and work under supervision to ensure customer quality requirements are met.

The role requires documentation of measurements, tolerance verification, and timely reporting of nonconformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or quality management or related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
• 1–2 years of management or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Records measurements and other critical data in the appropriate manner.
• Identifies acceptable tolerances according to prints and documents.
• Stops production and notifies proper personnel when nonconformances are found.
• Assists in investigation of quality issues and ensures corrective actions.
• Prepares reports and correspondence as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
