Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to measure and visually inspect materials to meet internal and external quality requirements. You will use prints, checklists, and various measuring devices under supervision.

The role covers receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping stages. You will record measurements, identify tolerances, stop production for nonconformances, and assist in investigations and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years QA/management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Record measurements and critical data accurately.
• Identify tolerances and ensure operations stay within limits.
• Stop production and notify management on nonconformances.
• Assist in investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
