Responsibilities

• Perform diversified inspection duties on a variety of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished product, following charts and specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials and perform first piece/final inspections; stop production for excessive defects when needed.
• Operate precision measurement equipment (dial indicators, micrometers, fixed gauges) and record results.
• Set up standard gauging and testing devices; perform special inspections as required.
• Move and segregate rejected items; maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
