Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Authorized to work in the US legally.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards preferred.
• Experience with non-conformance documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier PPAP documentation for completeness against ABB requirements.
• Perform first article inspections on new and changed purchased parts.
• Track and update PPAP status for new parts and engineering changes.
• Set up receiving inspection plans and verify incoming material conformance.
• Inspect purchased parts using gauges, CMM and other measurement tools to drawing requirements.
• Document nonconformances and initiate SCAR requests to the Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Coordinate internal sorts, containment and rework of suspect purchased material.
• Maintain supplier quality records, deviations and certifications in the QMS.
• Collect and report incoming quality data and metrics (PPM, reject rate).
