Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a dedicated production associate to support high-speed can manufacturing operations in Olive Branch, MS. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety, quality standards, and efficient line performance.

You will monitor machines, perform inspections, and execute basic maintenance tasks while ensuring accurate record-keeping in SAP/QAS systems. A high school diploma and the ability to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with PPE and safety procedures.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Understands and complies with safety SOPs and work instructions (Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding).
• Analyze inspection data and determine product quality where limits are not clearly defined.
• Report safety, quality, spoilage, or production issues clearly to peers and supervisors.
• Perform tests, gauge or instrument inspections and log results in QAS software.
• Carry out simple maintenance tasks (e.g., fix jams, calibrations, PMs).
• Visually inspect for defective product and report incidences.
• Operate automatic can machines and restore to automatic status; report malfunctions.
• Adhere to all safety policies and GMP/SQF; participate in safety programs.
• Dispositon and quarantine non-conforming product; manage inventory in SAP systems.
• Check cans for full pattern pack, replace missing/defective cans, sort and depalletize.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards to protect plant and product integrity.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
