Job Description
USOC Medical is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Quality Control Inspector for our medical repair operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of units, circuit boards, components, and subcomponents of various medical devices.
- Complete functional testing on repaired and/or purchased units of all outgoing orders in accordance with company-approved procedures.
- Operate test equipment such as simulators, analyzers, and regulators.
- Collect data and enter inspection results into database or software programs.
- Verify documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a quality role, preferably in an electronics environment.
- Intermediate English abilities required.
- Basic familiarity with computer use required.
- Proficiency in email, basic Excel, and written messaging.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time-management skills.
Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions
- Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled).
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and twisting.
- Occasional stooping, crouching, or crawling.
- Frequent pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs.
