Job summary

Pinnacle Percission Sheet Metal is seeking a Quality Control Inspector – Level 2 to perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections of sheet metal assemblies and CNC parts. You will verify conformance to drawings and customer specs, document nonconformances, and support corrective actions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of inspection experience, proficiency with GD&T, and experience using precision measuring equipment on a variety of components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training, technical certification, or coursework in manufacturing technology, quality inspection, or related discipline preferred.
• Additional training in GD&T, dimensional metrology, or aerospace inspection preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience performing dimensional and visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, finishing, and final dimensional and visual inspections of sheet metal assemblies, CNC machined components, structural weldments, and finished products.
• Set up and operate precision inspection equipment including digital height gages, optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, thread micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Interpret CMM reports to evaluate dimensional conformity and make acceptance or rejection decisions within authority.
• Document nonconformances and maintain inspection records in ERP or QMS systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to resolve discrepancies and support corrective actions.
