Job summary

Medline is seeking a QC Inspector I in Ohio to inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure quality and safety. You will perform measurements, document findings, and report defects, collaborating with production and distribution teams to resolve issues.

The role involves following GMP/ISO guidelines, working in PPE, and potentially operating handling equipment. High School diploma or equivalent is required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments and wear PPE.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follow SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA rules, and Medline policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products; document results.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and specs.
• Identify and report defects and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production/distribution teams to address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assess inbound damaged goods and repackage as needed.
• Perform inventory checks, recall verifications, deviations handling, relabeling, rework, pedigree verification, and other projects.
• May operate powered material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret instructions and blueprints.
• Comply with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines and Medline rules.
