Job summary

Orchid's Arab site in northern Alabama is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I to perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections under GD&T guidelines. You will verify certifications, inspect components, and maintain accurate documentation per the Quality Management System.

Under supervision, you will apply metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators to ensure conformance to customer requirements and internal standards at our 70,000 square foot

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• No previous work experience required.
• Experience in a scientific field preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection and lean manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and attribute inspection.
• Verify certifications and inspect parts against drawings.
• Utilize GD&T knowledge during inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation per QMS.
• Complete First Article Inspections and DHR reviews.
