Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Arab, AL is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I to perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections. You will apply GD&T principles, verify certifications, and maintain meticulous records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment near Huntsville.

No prior work experience is required; however, experience in a scientific field or quality inspection is preferred. This role supports production with a focus on accuracy and compliance with QMS procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in quality inspection and lean manufacturing preferred.
• Technical trade school or ASQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and attribute inspection of components and materials.
• Verify CMM and 2D reports; maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify non-conforming material and report via NCMRs/Red tags.
• Conduct First Article Inspections and in-process inspections as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Orchid QMS procedures and records.
