Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector, Level I/II, to perform production inspections of hardware per established procedures, drawings, specifications, and quality standards. You will support product conformity, traceability, and manufacturing flow while collaborating with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations.

Level I focuses on basic inspection within qualified areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/training preferred.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing, inspection, electronics, or related experience.
• Ability to read and follow basic engineering drawings and instructions.
• Ability to use basic inspection equipment and document results.
• 1–4 years of aerospace/high‑reliability inspection experience (Level II).
• Proficiency with IPC‑A‑610 and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 or related standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections within qualified areas.
• Use inspection plans, procedures and acceptance criteria with guidance from Quality personnel.
• Escalate inspection issues and potential nonconformances through established channels.
• Independently perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections (Level II) with limited supervision.
• Maintain inspection records and traceability across Mechanical/Structures, Avionics, and Electronics.
