Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to measure and visually inspect materials to meet internal and external quality requirements. You will use prints, checklists, and measuring devices under supervision across receiving, cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping processes.

The role emphasizes recording data, identifying tolerances, stopping nonconforming operations, and contributing to corrective actions. Strong documentation and MS Office skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma/GED.
• 1-2 years of management or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Record measurements and other critical data in an appropriate manner.
• Identify acceptable tolerances according to prints and documents and ensure operations stay within tolerances.
• Stop production and notify proper personnel upon nonconformances.
• Assist in investigation of quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare various reports and correspondence as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
