Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Quality Control Inspector responsible for the measurement and visual inspection of material to ensure internal and external customer quality requirements are met across receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping.

The role uses prints, checklists, and various measuring devices under supervision; records data; stops nonconformances; supports investigations and corrective actions; prepares reports and communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years QA or management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Record measurements and data accurately.
• Identify acceptable tolerances according to prints and documents and ensure operations stay within limits.
• Stop production and notify proper personnel upon discovery of nonconformances.
• Assist in investigation of quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
